Location adjacent to the square, the historic centre and Stresa on lake Maggiore. Very attentive, efficient staff towards all guests. Had superior king room with hot shower, a selection of cakes were always available free of charge and a coffee maker.

Very nice and attentive staff, excellent breakfast buffet with a huge variety. Some rooms have a piece of garden with garden table and chairs. Comfortable bed. Free Wifi and internet in the lobby. Free espresso in the afternoon.
The coffee during breakfast was horrible: instant style.

we have booked superior double room for 1 night, everything was really good, it had satellite tv, climate control, and coffee/tea makers. location: the hotel was right by the center and the the centre of the village and the sacro monte. easily reached ristorante sant antonio, located a 10-15 minute walking distance from the property, had lunch/dinner there.
Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes!

It was a pleasant stay, the best I had before. the hotel was well-kept and quaint. It had the perfect location, so close to Orta old town and lakeside beaches. the bread and pastries served for breakfast were excellent.

The hotel is not far from the centre, it is possible to take either the short way (about 10-15 min) or the long way along the lake which is very nice. We walked back to the hotel at night after dinner and it was ok, the road is open only for residents so there are not many cars. The personnel was friendly. The breakfast was really excellent, very large choice.

A simple, comfortable, well-run hotel with notably pleasant staff and an outstanding breakfast. The walks into town are very pretty.
The road is very busy, with no footway, and much of the hotel is exposed to traffic noise. Wi-fi is capricious even on the ground floor and it is a serious disadvantage that it doesn't work in rooms. We were happy with the pleasant 20-minute works through fine scenery to reach the old town, even four times a day, but some people migh find this less agreeable.

Great friendly and helpful staff who allowed us early check-in and assisted with our bags. Good clean and spacious accommodation near the water and a short walk from the town center. - Convenient location for both peace and quiet and easy access to attractions.
Antiquated lift that sometimes caused inconvenience. Limited availability of Wi-Fi only on the ground floor.

The staff at Hotel Garni Santa Caterina were incredibly helpful and friendly, making our stay enjoyable. They assisted us in reserving a cab for our early departure and even provided us with an orange when we mentioned the lack of available fruit. They were knowledgeable about the town, recommending places to rent bikes and suggesting the best routes to take. The rooms were spacious and clean, with a lovely balcony. The hotel was situated in a quiet area, allowing us to sleep with the French doors open and only be awakened by the soothing sound of church bells.
Felt very cared for, no complaints.

Really helpul, cheerful recptionists despite high work load. Good breakfast.
Electric wires hanging down from ceiling where entrance light should have been - made it difficult to use wardrobe. Very frugal internal decoration.
